Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during week 1?+
Week one is entirely foundation-focused: settling into the yard, groundwork, desensitisation to rugs, tack, and everyday handling. No horse is rushed towards ridden work before they are ready.
Can I visit my horse?+
Yes. Owners are welcome to book a yard visit at a mutually convenient time to see their horse's progress. Please book in advance via the Book a Yard Visit page so we can plan around the day's training.
What do I need to bring?+
A well-fitting headcollar and lead rope, up-to-date passport and vaccination records, and any specific dietary or veterinary information. Rugs and tack can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
What age and type of horse do you take?+
We work with horses aged three years and above. Programmes are tailored individually, so whether your horse is a first-time youngster or needs a confidence-building restart, we can discuss a suitable plan.
